Opening with the Pan Am games, the 2015 Summer/Fall exhibition focuses on sportswear Presented and Commissioned by Panamania, Presented by CIBC and curated by Marie O'Mahony, a professor of Advanced Fashion + Textiles at OCAD University and visiting professor at University of the Arts, London. An exhilarating exhibition that explores the vast evolution of sportswear and the role technology has played in that growth, visitors will see the clothing, equipment, and accessories that enhance performance and were/are worn by world-celebrated athletes. Divided into four sections - ethnographics, nature, fashion and performance - this exhibit examines the nature of sportswear today and its wider cultural, social and aesthetic significance.
